Crystal Matheu – President 23/24 I am a full-time SAHM that loves to volunteer at the school. This is my 10th year as a Panther parent. I have a 9th grader and a 6th grader. I enjoy coming to the school to help the teacher’s & staff with any of their needs. I find it refreshing to be out in the neighborhoods and the students recognize me on and off campus. For fun I am known to enjoy bi watching television shows or swimming in the pool. I love finding new ways to bring fun to the students at Collins. I am looking forward to our new adventures as a PK8 school.
Breana Wand - Treasurer 23/24 Hi, I’m Bre! My family moved to Panther Trace in 2019, so with 2 kids entering 1st and 4th grades, this will be my 5th year as a Collins mom. This is my first year on the PTSA board serving as treasurer. Previously I have volunteered in the library and for the book fair and Panther Run. I love being able to see my kids at school and also contributing to make their learning environment the best it can be! When not at school, my family can be found watching movies, swimming at the PT community pool, or going to the occasional Renaissance festival. I look forward to meeting you all and working together to make this school the best it can be!
Andie Anderson -Recording Secretary 23/24 I am a mother of two young boys (both with ADHD) going into the 2nd and 4th grade. I am a 12 year combat veteran, and currently work full time as a mental health counselor. I joined the PTSA because I wanted to be more involved with my boys and their school. Volunteering has always been a big part of my life and I enjoy bringing my skillset to improve school life for my boys and their classmates. For fun I enjoy the outdoors, going on hikes, horseback riding, and reading. I can’t wait for the fun times to be had as a bigger PK-8 school.
Brenda Snee - Corresponding Secretary I am a mother of two, my daughter is going into the 7th grade and my son is going into the 4th grade. We have loved Collins ever since my daughter started here in Kindergarten. I am a SAHM that loves volunteering at the school. This will be my 3rd year as part of the PTA. I have 2 very active kiddos that love soccer and dance. In our free time, when we are not at the soccer field or a dance competition, my family loves going to the beach, swimming, boating, and hanging out with friends and family. I am looking forward to this year and can’t wait for all the fun times at the new Collins PK-8!!

Jessica Pavelchak -VP, Ways & Means 23/24 I am a mother of one amazing 2nd grader who is my whole heart. I have a degree in animal science and used to work as a Surgery Veterinary Technician before becoming a mommy. I joined the PTSA after volunteering in the library as well as other events and seeing a need to do more. Outside of volunteering, I enjoy playing video games, board games or just relaxing with a good book. I love turtles of all kinds, and lots of our furry friends too. I can't wait to see what adventure awaits us this year.

Jesus Olivieri- Programs & Events I am a retired Veteran and a retired NYCMTA Bus Operator. My family and I moved from NYC to Panther trace in July of 2022. I am now a full-time SAHD that loves to volunteer at the school. This is my 1st year as a Panther parent, I have a beautiful 5th grader and a handsome 1st grader. I enjoy coming to the school to help the teacher’s & staff with any of their needs. I have amazing leadership skills thanks to the USMC. I love to work with my community/neighborhoods on and off campus. For fun I enjoy training dogs, watching football and playing pool. I love communicating with students and parents to balance education, social skills, and fun. I am looking forward to being part of the team at Collins and learning from the awesome board members. I am am very approachable and very open minded, if you see me around, please feel free to share any ideas or pick my brain. I hope I can make this school year and many more very exciting for Collins, Parents and students
Beve DeMott - Volunteers I am a mom of twin 3rd graders and an 8th grader who's returning to Collins. I have been a Collins parent since 2015 and currently teach at Collins as a Long-term substitute filling in for teachers on leave. This is my second year serving on the PTSA, I wanted to join PTSA because I wanted to be more involved as a parent to support the teachers, staff, and students. I love our community and our school and wanted to give back any way I can. I love to read on spare time and fun fact about me is I use to be a hairstylist before I became a mommy.
Karla Mills - Spirit Items I am a mom of two amazing girls one in 6th grade and my other in 3rd grade, this is my second year working at Collins and I love it, This will be my 3rd year as part of the PTA now PTSA that loves to volunteer my time and be involved to support our teachers, staff and students in all the awesome events that we have to share with you all this year, looking forward for a great year! Lauren Sanderson - Hospitality & Spirit Nights Hi I am Lauren proud mom to a 5th and 3rd grade panther. This is our first year at Collins. I am excited to be a part of PTSA and volunteer where I can help out. When my children are not in class they are active in soccer and gymnastics. In our downtime we enjoy going to Universal and spending time as a family. For fun I enjoy going to the beach/exploring new places.
Jackie Conklin - Teacher Liaison23/24 I am starting my 15th year of teaching this school year and have been teaching 3rd grade for 14 years. My husband also works at Collins as one of our middle school PE coaches and our son Luke is a 4th grader this year. Some of my hobbies are cooking, going to the beach, and traveling. We are big sports fans in our house too.
Michelle Sanchez - Liaison 23/24 “Hi I’m Michelle! I have a 5th grader and 7th grader. We have been at Collins since kindergarten. I am assisting with the yearbook for the third year. I love to run and be outdoors. I am a Physical Therapist and work in an outpatient clinic”
